Building Regulations
Following successful grants of Planning Permission, JAT-Surv will guide you through the Building Regulations process to remove the stress and unknowns from what can seem like a daunting process for Clients to navigate alone.
Building Regulations or the Approved Documents are a series of government issued technical publications that encompass all aspects of construction from fire safety, thermal efficiency, structural integrity, drainage and ventilation.
The majority of building works need to comply with the relevant Building Regulations and British Standards. Firstly, the Building Control Authority will review our construction drawings, specification and structural packages for compliance. Secondly, the Building Control Authority will undertake site visits during the building work to check and sign off key stages. They will issue a Final Certificate once the project is complete
JAT-Surv will appoint the Building Control Authority and manage this process on your behalf, from initial quote through to plans approval and final certification.
